By using the Velora mobile application ("Velora" or "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please uninstall the App immediately.
1. The Service
Velora is a software interface that allows you to interact with the Pactus Blockchain. We do not provide financial advice, brokerage services, or custody of your assets.
2. Non-Custodial Security Model
- No Access to Keys: We never have access to your recovery phrase, private keys, or passwords.
- Your Responsibility: You are the sole custodian of your digital assets. If you lose your 12/24-word recovery phrase, your funds will be permanently inaccessible. Velora cannot reset your password or recover your keys.
- Backup: You must write down your recovery phrase and store it in a secure, offline location. This is your only means of account recovery.
3. Risks of Using Blockchain Technology
- Irreversibility: Transactions on the Pactus network are permanent and cannot be reversed. We cannot recover funds sent to the wrong address.
- Network Fees: Every transaction requires a network fee paid in PAC. These fees go to Pactus network validators, not to Velora.
- Volatility: Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile. You use this App entirely at your own financial risk.
4. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use Velora for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including but not limited to money laundering, terrorist financing, or exploiting the Pactus network or associated dApps.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Liability
Velora is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. The developers are not liable for any loss of funds, loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the App or the Pactus blockchain.
